Viagra Connect® is a treatment for Erectile Dysfunction (ED) available from the pharmacy without a doctor’s prescription. Viagra connect contains 50mg of sildenafil. It is available to patients over 18 years directly from Ballybrack Medical Hall Pharmacy.

Viagra Connect® is an oral tablet based treatment that is quickly absorbed – it takes 30–60 minutes to work. Do not take more than 1 tablet a day.

The legal battles over Viagra Connect have raised questions as regulators are still searching for answers.
The government has now asked the US Food and Drug Administration to conduct its own investigation into whether Viagra Connect was a dangerous drug.
The FDA said it was investigating whether a product called ® (sildenafil) was being sold in the United States by an online pharmacy. The drug is marketed by Eli Lilly, based in Indianapolis, and is used to treat erectile dysfunction.
In 2012, the US health department asked the agency to conduct an investigation into whether the drug sold by ® contained sildenafil, a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction. The FDA said its inquiry did not involve a case of a violation of the Food and Drug Act, but only about the use of the drug.
The FDA has not told the agency the drug was being sold and the drug was not being used to treat erectile dysfunction.
In a statement, Lilly said: “This matter is being handled by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).”
The FDA said it is reviewing the agency’s case.
“Our investigation will continue, and we hope to have an outcome that enables us to continue to pursue and study the facts about the safety, efficacy, and quality of this drug,” the agency said in a statement.
Lilly said it would not comment on further questions about the case.
